From Junior Tennis to the ATP Tour
Andres Martin, a 23-year-old from Flowery Branch, GA, credits his mother for introducing him to tennis and the USTA Southern community for helping him turn his passion into a professional career. After a standout collegiate career at Georgia Tech, Martin is now in his first season on the ATP Tour, ranked 494 in the world as of March 2025.

Jaime's Love Tennis Weekend
When an endowed scholarship was created in Jaime Kaplan's name, longtime USTA Southern and Southern Tennis Foundation volunteers Randy Stephens and Bobby Walker stepped in to organize a fundraiser weekend aptly named Jaime's Love Tennis Weekend to reflect Jaime's love of tennis in her hometown of Macon, Georgia, and throughout the Southern Section.
